Welcome Flore Kilens and Claire Morand

We officially welcome Flore Kilens and Claire Morands, who have recently joined the team.

Flore grew up in western France, where she experienced life by the ocean and realized the need to protect our environment. After studying chemical engineering, she joined the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) to complete a Master in Chemistry and Polymers in which she developed a great research and leadership skills.

Claire comes from a small town in north-eastern France, not far from Luxembourg. After high school, she studied Physics and Chemistry. She went to Bordeaux to do a Master of Science in Chemistry with a specialization in Polymers. Through her university courses and internships, Claire has developed a strong background in polymers, making her a valuable asset at POLYKEY.

Concerned about the current challenges facing the plastics industry and the circular economy, both researchers will work within the NATURE project, designing and developing new polyester-based materials considering both their performance and their recyclability.
