GEP 2024

This week our doctoral student Ane Olazabal Abarrategui was in Madrid for the XVII Congress of the Grupo Especializado de Polímeros – GEP2024. She had the opportunity to present her work on the synthesis of biobased copolyethers to a large audience of experts in polymer.

She was accompanied by an entire Basque polymer chemists’ team as colleagues from POLYMAT, UPV/EHU, and our neighbours POLIMERBIO were also present!

Every 2 years the congress organised by the GEP allows the Spanish polymer community to share and discuss the latest advances in the field. It is also a splendid opportunity for young researchers to present their work to a broad and varied audience of scientists.

This year was, again, a success! Thanks to the organising committee for another great event and see you all in 2026!
