Circular Economy [Webinar]

Last week Polykey participated in a digital seminar on Circular Economy organised by Noticias de Gipuzkoa.

The seminar was attended by Rafael Pascual, director of the Añorga plant of the Cementos Rezola Heidelbergcement group; Andere Basterretxea, general manager of POLYKEY; Coralie Jehanno, scientific director of POLYKEY, and Olga Martín, general manager of Aclima.

The participants showed their vision of the circular economy as an economic model based on sustainability, and the opportunities that companies have ahead to work in line with the current sustainable development objectives.

Participants agreed on the need to consider waste as a resource and on the importance of working together to maximize the life of materials, reduce dependence on raw materials and avoid waste generation as much as possible.
