Circular economy strategy 2030 of the Basque Country

The Basque Country’s circular economy strategy is based on 4 areas of action, innovation and research in the field of sustainable materials and recycling being among them.

The circular economy supposes a change of paradigm in the way of using natural resources and, therefore, of relating to the environment. In the new circular model, the life cycle of products and materials is maintained for as long as possible; waste is minimized; and resources are repeatedly reintroduced into the production cycle creating value when the goods reach the end of their lifespan. It involves moving away from “extract, produce, use and throw away” to “reduce, reuse and recycle.”

This is good news since at POLYKEY we promote chemical recycling processes and more efficient and sustainable synthesis processes together with the utilization of renewable materials. Together we will be able to move towards a more sustainable future!
