SALAMANDER Project: 2nd General Assembly Meeting

Last week, our expert in materials for batteries and bioelectronics, Iñaki Gomez, attended the 2nd General Assembly of the SALAMANDER Project. It was an intense but fascinating two-day meeting hosted by the Kemijski inštitut – National Institute of Chemistry in beautiful Slovenia.

The SALAMANDER Project aims to develop Li-ion batteries with embedded sensors and self-healing functionalities to enhance their quality, reliability, and lifetime. In close collaboration with POLYMAT, POLYKEY participates in the synthesis of innovative bio-based materials with intrinsic self-healing properties.

This project represents an exciting advancement in the field of battery technology, with the potential to revolutionize key industries such as electronics, automotive, and energy.
